One of my favorites from my most recent batch.  I thought of a guy who always had anxiety and how that would alter someone’s face, biting their lip, thinning their hair.  available at my Etsy shop

Got inspired by a Japanese Noh Mask exhibit at the Phoenix Art Museum and made 3 “noh-ish” masks last month.  They are available on Etsy.

A lot of my masks are just unpleasant people I imagined, or analogues to old co-workers or relatives.  Earlier this year I thought about clearly evil/ corrupt political figures and got these two out- Nixon and our unfriendly neighborhood Sheriff Joe Arpaio- before I got a bit queasy and switched back to superheroes and zombies and made-up people.  Currently on my etsy and ebay.
